Supervision for therapists

Supervision that supports you

Stay grounded, supported, and confident in your practice with regular supervision.

Why supervision matters

Good supervision is about more than complying with professional requirements. It provides:

  • A reflective space to explore challenges, insights, and growth

  • A supportive environment to prevent burnout and compassion fatigue

  • Guidance on ethical dilemmas and professional boundaries

  • A fresh perspective on clinical work and client dynamics

  • An opportunity to deepen self-awareness and develop your practice

Supervision should feel like a place where you can be open, thoughtful, and supported - not just a box to tick.

My approach to supervision

Supervision should be a collaborative process - one that respects your experience while offering new perspectives. My approach is:

Relational: a space built on trust, open discussion, and mutual learning.

Integrative: drawing from multiple therapeutic models to support your individual approach.

Practical & reflective: offering both concrete strategies and deeper exploration of your work.

Ethically grounded: ensuring best practice while supporting your personal and professional growth.

FAQs

Find answers to common questions about supervision and how we might work together.

Who do you offer supervision to?

I work with counsellors, psychotherapists, and other professionals in the helping fields — whether you’re in training, newly qualified, or more experienced and looking for reflective space.

What’s your approach to supervision?

My style is relational, collaborative, and grounded in ethical practice. I aim to create a space where you feel supported, challenged, and able to explore both client work and your development as a practitioner.

Do you offer online supervision?

Yes - I offer both online and in-person supervision, depending on what works best for you.

How long are supervision sessions?

Sessions are usually 50 or 90 minutes, depending on your needs and whether you’re in training, working toward accreditation, or in private practice.

Can I come to supervision even if I’m not in a clinical placement?

Absolutely. Supervision can be helpful at any stage - including during breaks from practice, career transitions, or periods of reflection and reorientation.

What models or modalities do you draw on?

I take an integrative approach informed by person-centred and psychodynamic principles, with attention to the relational process, unconscious dynamics, and ethical reflection.

Do you offer supervision for accreditation purposes?

Yes. If you’re working toward accreditation with a professional body (such as the IACP or equivalent), I can provide appropriate supervision and documentation.

Can we have an initial session to see if we’re a good fit?

Of course. I offer a free 15-minute call to explore what you’re looking for and whether we’d work well together.
