Why I do this work
For more than 20 years, I’ve worked with people facing anxiety, grief, trauma, and major changes. Life throws challenges at us - and too often, people feel they have to figure it all out on their own.
I started Step into Therapy because I believe that everyone deserves a space to be heard, understood, and supported.
Therapy isn’t about just talking - it’s about gaining clarity, processing emotions, and building tools to help you feel more in control of your life.

What therapy with me is like
Therapy should feel supportive, practical, and tailored to you. It’s not about fitting into a method or framework - it’s about finding what works for you. That said, sessions with me are always:
Collaborative
We’ll work together to find approaches that feel meaningful and manageable for you.
Compassionate
I offer warmth, empathy, and space to explore what’s going on - without judgment or pressure.
Practical
Our sessions won’t just offer insight - we’ll focus on tools and strategies that help you move forward in daily life.

My approach to therapy
I adapt therapy to suit you - there’s no one-size-fits-all. Working flexibly means I draw on different therapeutic styles depending on what feels most helpful for you.
Over the years, I’ve found that what helps most can vary, but it might include:
Being heard and supported
Untangling thoughts, emotions, and behaviour
Building awareness and self-compassion
Focusing on what you can change
Who I work with
I work on an individual basis with adults (18+) navigating challenges such as:
Anxiety, overthinking, and stress that won’t switch off
Low mood, self-doubt, and feeling stuck or unmotivated
Grief, loss, or the weight of ongoing sadness
Relationship difficulties and struggles with self-worth
Life transitions, uncertainty, or questions about identity
Ready to take the next step?
You don’t have to go through your challenges alone. Therapy can help, and I’m here to support you.
Let’s start with a short, no-pressure conversation.
